Well first off – unless you are planning on using a laser on your machine I see no reason to flash your Uno to GRBL V1.X

If however you decide this is the way to go for you, keep the following in mind.

GRBL controller does not work well – your carving will drift with each pass.
CNC.JS seems to work OK, but it overrides your feedrates and I could never achieve the 3000mm/m I was looking for (I might update this one day when I can figure out how to get the feedrates working properly.)

As much as it pains me to say it…. If you are going to use GRBL V1.X it seems only Universal G-code sender works properly….

Going back to my first sentence – stick to V0,9 and all 3 works fine….

    my 2 cents worth….
I’ve switched to USG about 3 weeks ago running v0.9… all the issues I had while running GRBL – is something of the past, USG gets both my thumbs up!!! 🙂

I did a google search for USG and I don’t find anything. Is this a typo or an acronym of some sort?

Never mind, I found out that its an acronym for the Universal Gcode Sender
